For purposes of communication from the school clinic to the parents via the parent app, the app receives information pertaining to a student’s general demographic information, their clinic visits and medications. The app may also include parent/guardian information for the purpose of communication, as well as account information and communication preferences, such as notification settings and language preferences. The app also collects basic device/app performance data for security and app functionality. And, for the nurses ability to view that relevant communications within the app were delivered and viewed by the assigned parents.
